Interview with Christopher Meddings

Today I got the chance to interview Christopher meddings, proprietor of noise recording in the city of Wolverhampton. Over the past two years chris has built his business from the ground up and continues to work with a variety of musicians form around the West Midlands area.

It was interesting to hear what he had to say on the way in which the acoustics and aesthetics of an environment could alter the performance of a musician.

During the interview Chris mentioned that he had just worked on a project where the singer requested that they use a handheld microphone in order to emulate a live performance (of which he is more accustomed to). Chris also changed the layout of the control room and by using LED lighting was able to change the colour of the environment to match the emotions of the music (red = anger).

The video below is the full interview with Christopher.
